John Moore

John spent twelve years teaching seamanship at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology before buying Manaia and running Nelsons first RYA liveaboard sailing courses. 
John holds an MNZ Deep Sea Skippers ticket and he and Manaia are accredited to teach the RYA sailing programme. Sail Nelson specialises in 5 day liveaboard courses for those looking to develop their skills. 

John is about a fifteenth generation Nelsonian and he and his wife Woodi run Wakefield Quay House, a B&B in an historic home overlooking the harbour entrance.
